Papa John’s CEO, Koch Foundation Expand Free Enterprise Program at UK

The foundations of pizza magnate John Schnatter and businessman Charles Koch have donated a combined $12 million to create a “free enterprise” teaching institute at the University of Kentucky. The donation, one of the largest in UK history, is double what the two groups made earlier this year to set up a similar program at the University of Louisville.

Democrat-Heavy College Boards Run Counter To Kentucky Law

Despite settling a lawsuit years ago to balance the state’s top university boards, Gov. Steve Beshear has made these boards even more politically lopsided. Today they are stacked with Democrats, in violation of state laws, and dominated by trustees who helped bankroll Beshear’s campaigns.
